The Tiger Moth flight was the best of all my 60 Birthday presents. I thought i would be flown over the N. Devon coast and be able to take pictures of the sunset and my house. Instead i was told 'no cameras, you're flying! ' Sure enough with the calm and patient instructor I ended up flying for 90% of the trip while he commentated on the spectacular views . A memorable trip and gift but maybe a securely fastened go pro would have been better.

The pilot instructor was very welcoming and friendly, he explained in detail all the procedures for entering, starting and taxiing the aircraft. From takeoff to landing he kept up a very interesting and detailed running commentary. He pointed out many landmarks, modern and historical. During the flight I was encouraged to fly the aircraft turning it in the direction indicated. I really enjoyed the experience and will definitely returning for another go.

If you want a truly exhilarating experience then book your 1 hr lesson now. It will be money well spent. You can see Dartmoor on one side and all the way up to Exmoor the other. It's like nothing you've seen before and Barry is an excellent instructor.

Our experience at Eaglescott Airfield was incredible! I brought this experience for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and we went along to the experience with my nan and grandad to watch him! The two owners were very accommodating and so friendly, they let us all get involved in the experience which was so much fun. They were very relaxed and just overall we had such a good day. We can't wait to go back for a visit again soon! Thank you so much I would highly highly recommend them.

Flying with Eaglescott was an truly wonderful experience in every way. The Eurostar is an absolute dream to fly, and with his bags of experience in - and passion for - flight, Barry is a brilliantly knowledgeable, calm, and encouraging instructor. My partner knows of my lifelong desire to fly, and so bought the experience for me as a birthday gift. If you’re thinking of doing the same for your partner, friend, or family member, then my advice is simply to go for it. Nothing quite beats the sensation of flight; the tickling of the clouds, the responsiveness of the aircraft, and the altered perception inherit in seeing a very familiar landscape from a very unfamiliar viewpoint. My experience more than lived up to the expectations, and I will 100% be flying with Eaglescott again the next time I’m in the area.

Took my very first 1 hr lesson with Barry. What a fantastic and informative flight around north Devon. Not only do you get the great experience of flying the plane, you also get to see one of the nicest parts of the country along the way. I got this flying lesson as a gift from my wife with a choice of over 20 airfields to chose from. I’m so glad I chose this one.

Fantastic day! Great to see North Devon from above. Arrived just after 9.30am and was in the air before 10am. Great instruction and was allowed to do most of the flying, even coming into land! Highly recommend!
